A little bit (a lot) fixated on Topman‘s Mainline FW12 Lookbook that I saw earlier today on the Oyster mag website. Photographer Laurence Ellis did an amazing job shooting the lookbook and really let the collection come alive with subtle lighting against an inky backdrop. Classic tailored coats, beautiful orchard & Aztec prints, double denim and ethereal models. Stunning stuff. I’m trying to figure out how much I could wear of it without actually appearing like a full blown man.
There’s only a couple more days until the Dark Horse Jewellery giveaway ends, so get on it if you haven’t already! As an extra incentive, all those who enter (and who have already entered) are entitled to a 10% discount on The Dark Horse Jewellery website. So if you’ve hesitated to enter because you don’t think you’ll win, you will win in a way regardless! All you need to do is like The Dark Horse facebook page, let me know that you’ve entered on this page, and email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your specific code. Hurrah!
Some shots of the boy from the other afternoon. He was just as hesitant and awkward in front of the camera as I was, but we had a good time in the end, mostly laughing at our own heads. Not sure how pleased he’ll will be when he finds out he’s on my blog, but hey, we can’t always have girls posing for outfit posts, right?
Flora has clearly been on my mind since last week’s frolic, as these shots show. The boyfriend and I have been back home in Byron this week, and a week out of the city isn’t complete without climbing through pretty private property and taking photos like a badass.
I’m still trying to perfect my own curves, but I have recently come across the free curves created by talented young photographer Julia Trotti that are both inspiring and depressing because they’re so lovely. I will persevere, however!
